Lucy, Day 5

Here's a pic of Lucy from her fifth day here; she was watching Dancing with the Stars and got annoyed at the dancers. Both of us think it is quite cheesy....I had to turn her around and she was much more content.

She's here! At 11:31 on Wed. morning, April 14th, Lucy Louise Penner was born (or "cracked out" as my nephew Dylan would say). She weighed 6 lbs, 15 oz, 19 1/2 inches long and showed up in a super fast fashion. I'm taking it as a good sign for her athletic future! :) Here are some pics of the great adventure...

Arriving at the hospital at 5:30 a.m.--you can tell that I had not a clue what I was in for...although a girl came in about 1 minute later who was about to deliver and gave me a verbal and visual taste of what was to come. At the time, I felt relieved that I hadn't arrived in that state, but I was also freaking out that I would eventually be there...

My pal Kelly and her daughter Zoey stopped by the hospital to see us! :)

Boomer and Jen came by the house yesterday so that Noah could meet his new girlfriend.
